People ask me all the time:
“What does the IT mean in Break IT Forward?”
The answer is deeper than fitness.
Deeper than motivation.
Deeper than just a phrase.
The “IT” is the thing inside of you that’s been asking for change.
The thing bothering you that you can no longer ignore.
The exhaustion.
The self-doubt.
The fear.
The unhealthy habits.
The environment draining your energy.
The mindset keeping you stuck.
The version of yourself that no longer aligns with who you’re becoming.
That’s the IT.
The IT is the cycle you’re tired of repeating.
And the moment you become honest about what your “IT” is…
that’s the moment your transformation begins.
Because Break IT Forward is not about waiting for life to magically change.
It’s about becoming intentional enough to change yourself first.
One action forward.
Sometimes the “IT” is internal.
Your fear.
Your lack of confidence.
Your inability to say no.
Your habit of putting everyone before yourself.
Your attachment to comfort and familiarity.
Sometimes the “IT” is external.
The environment.
The conversations around you.
The people constantly projecting their limitations onto you.
The atmosphere keeping you in survival mode instead of growth.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
You cannot create a new life while holding onto old standards.
That’s why Break IT Forward Performance is built on creating a new standard.
Not perfection.
Not motivation.
Standards.
The standard to protect your peace.
The standard to take care of your health.
The standard to move your body even when life feels heavy.
The standard to stop abandoning yourself just to make others comfortable.
Because every time you honor your standards, you rebuild trust within yourself.
That trust becomes confidence.
That confidence becomes discipline.
That discipline becomes identity.
And identity changes everything.
The truth is, people may not understand the changes you’re making.
Some people only knew the version of you that overextended, overexplained, and over-sacrificed.
Growth disrupts familiarity.
But your responsibility is not to stay small for the comfort of others.
Your responsibility is to evolve.
To move differently.
To think differently.
To align differently.
To Break IT Forward.
So today I leave you with two questions:
What is the “IT” you’re trying to break forward from?
And…
What standard must you create to become the person you know you’re capable of becoming?
One action forward.
Every single day.
Keep Breaking IT Forward.
